Today, on October 6, we at The Double Minor have applied for spot in the NYI Blog Box. Despite being under age, we have decided to appeal to the islanders staff. A key demographic for this franchise is teenagers and young people, those that will become the life blood of the organization as they grow older. The fact is the Islanders need to start young, making kids into lifelong fans as soon as they can understand a hockey game. It is because of our age that we feel we can provide a unique perspective into Islanders hockey that the blog box is missing in its current state. All differnt views should be represented, after all, We’re all Islanders.
